Well i did a science test a few weeks back, and got stuck on one of the questions - and failed to answer it. It was: what is a polar orbit, and i had no clue I haven't got the answers back either, so i've come to you to see if you can help me
A polar orbit is an orbit where the satellite travels in a North to South direction instead of West to East orbit. This means it travels longitudinally around the earth. As the planet rotates on its axis, this means over time the sattalite will cover all the earth as it is continually changing both latitude and longitude.
I think I get all that . And lastly, something that I've always wondered - what is DNA? I've heard all about it in lessons - maybe I should pay attention.
What blessed said, DNA is made up of nucleotides which contain a deoxyribose sugar , phosphate group, and an amino acid base. The bases are Guanine Adenine Thymine and Cytosine Guanine and Cytosine are complimentary, and Thymine and Adenine are complementary. The nucleotides join together with hydrogen bonds between the two strands and the phosphates forming a phosphate backbone on each. It replicates through semi-conservative replication, like a zipper coming undone. Free nucleotides then can line up to the complimentary base pairs and join together. RNA ( ribonucleic acid ) is made up of a ribose sugar instead of a deoxyribose, and contains uracil instead of thymine. It used in transcription and translation and the synthesis of proteins in the ribosomes of the cell. Phew.
i have i have in my school earth systems but the quizes are so difficult ... but how i can understand about the plants or thing like that?
