Im kind of curious, does anyone know how the wishing well works? Is it just some fatty at TNT looking over wishes like job applications?
It's random/not worth bothering with. Looking at Bag o' nuts, maybe TNT is actually trying to fix the rapid inflation.
I agree with the random and not worth it stuff, but why does this inflation need to be fixed? I love seeing "Bag of Peanuts - Yes" on my igloo autobuyer. x)
The chances of you winning, versus everyone else in the Neopian world, are obviously very slim. I never bother with the Wishing Well. If you ever want to try the Wishing Well, though, just donate 1 NP with a specific request each day. Give an exact item name, and DON'T wish for a paint brush with a plushie version. (The Well will more likely give you the Plushie than the actual PB.)
What, the time it'd take to pop by the Wishing Well once a day, donate 1 NP, and type something (e.g. Bag of Peanuts) day after day? It'd probably not be worth it, but hey - if the current lowest price is 320k, and you donate 1 NP a day, as long as you win once in about 877 years it'll still be worth it. (Though that isn't considering the time it'd take.) Really, though, I never bother messing with it. Hmm, maybe avatarlog's daily-to-do-list has a Wishing Well option?
I had gotten something from it ages ago, though I don't remember what it was. I just remember I sold it for around 20k at the time and it wasn't what I asked for. Took quite some time though and I hadn't tried for it again since.
got a bag of peanuts once from it as well i think minimum u have to doante is 21 the extra 400k from the peanuts is not too shabby, and i dont really depend on getting it so... i'd say it took a few weeks donating 21 neopoints 1-2 times a day so good profit after all
you can donate 1 np but i dont think it will register your donation but other than that it is completely random to get it btw, brains and dumplings seem to be the most profitable item to wish for (can only wish for under rarity 90 items) , at least when i last chekced
I once asked for the same item every day for a year and got nothing! Ever! Idk if it's just random or if TNT picks poor people or what. I wish they would pick me once.
I think you could treat this as a daily itself. Include it into some GM script and make it type for you the item and np you would like to offer and just switch it on everyday or something. Who knows, you may get it some day xD
