I saw this one too earlier, and it was really scary D: I don't "text and drive" myself, I'm too scared XD even though I can text without looking that much, I just dont like it.
And I hope that campaign scares people from it. It's realistic ):

Well i have this horrible fear of accidents and suffer from post pardom stress disorder after being in a HORRIBLE car accident, so ive learned lots of interesting facts. Think thats why this video scared the crap outta me. And gave my 11yr old sister nightmares (i told her not to watch lol) So, if it has the same effect on other ppl, that it did on me then maybe ppl will be alittle more aware.

And thank you :D Piggy was very nice and did it for me so i didnt have to look at that icky purple level one siggy any more lol *wants to roll with the level 4s and 5s like you* Gawdd i love it here :p

My folks say that it is too graphic.
I say it needs to be, so kids these days even pay attention.
We can watch gorey movies like Saw and not be phased.
We shoot people every day in our video games.
You want kids to pay attention? Make it graphic.
Then they will notice, pay attention, and stop texting while driving.
(and yeah, I think it's bad. I couldn't ever do it myslef -_-)

err, I kind of don't want to look, using your cell while driving is becoming illegal in New Zealand soon so hopefully less cellphone related car accidents will happen, but yeah your a danger on the road if your attention is somewhere else.

if it's the same ad i'm thinking of, good on them. nothing like graphic images to convey a message. and given the fact that you're talking about it on a forum now, its served its purpose

    REALITY CHECK

But yeah teens( and everybody else who drives) need to pay more attention when they drive not only are they putting themselves in danger but innocent human beings.

Wow, that's scary, but that's nice video editing :p -- it's pretty realistic. It kinda scared me although I can text without looking in my pocket XD, I'm never gonna 'text and drive'.

That really is hard-hitting... How awful was the bit that showed the dead baby?

I thought it was amazingly put together though... Other ad campaigns that I've seen that were going for the 'shock factor' have been pretty short, I suppose because they were trying to emphasise how quickly an accident can happen and perhaps partly because they weren't really sure how far they could push the audience. This one worked really well though because it was so much longer. When the next car hit them, that really shocked me. I wasn't expecting it. You thought it was over and then, well, it wasn't.
