Yeah, that ^ says it all. My first question (probably of many): On the microsoft website, should I be looking at guides for web developers or windows developers or both? It says one is for online apps and one is for windows apps, and I was thinking that neopets programs are kinda a combo of the two. Help much appreciated.
Web developers are people who develop web applications. Web applications are basically programs that run on servers and generate the webpage that you and I see. Now think about, are you writing an program for a server? Nope, you're writing a "client-side" application that communicates with the Neopets server (much like an internet browser).
Cool thanks guys. I knew I didn't want to design a website, but it was the "web applications" that confused me.
