Treasure Maps

When you are on the tradign boards, how many of you see people sellign full treasure maps, they say I sold 20 today and they all won Usuki PB's.

But how likely is it to really win?

Everyone who has ever used one will you please post your winnings (truthfully) as I am very interested into how often people have actually won big or how often you have had a pile of dung left in your lap.

 

I won 11k, a plushie ( don't know the value) and some crappy items.

Lol well I highly doubt all 20 of those won anything worth more than 100K.

One time, and many Nps later, and only once have I ever won a PB, and it was a Pirate one. Sad thing is, I spent more buying the maps than I would have if I just bought the PB myself.

 

did a spooky map once, 7k and about 5-10k in junk, much better to sell it

you CAN win unbuyables. but you more often lose nps then gain.

although you can win items such as a draik egg, or unbuyable cards, toys, food etc....

basically a gamblers game

How did you get 20 full maps in one day?

 

You should just sell them.

About the same as everyone else 15-20k and a crappy item. I've always thought they were too much of a gamble to worry about.

 

You should try the World Challenge Maps. They pretty good when you convert 2 maps of the same place. Your first converts might not be so good, but if you convert the second maps of the same place such as Maraqua, you'll likely get something good. I got a couple paint brushes from them, sold them, then bought some more.

 

I didn't think you could convert the same map more than once?

well i used 5 treasure maps today because i have no other use for my nps...i won 200k worth of stuff but spent 1 mill buying them...therefore a loss of 800k

You get them by either becoming 1st, 2nd, 3rd or maybe 4th (depends on the amount of people there are in the challenge) in a challenge. You should choose a game you are really really good at. First you have to join the challenge which can be located when you press a game, and under that there should be a little globe and you click that and join. Play the game and ONLY send when it is quite high. It works by comparing your score to others.

I've completed the neopia central map. Atfter you've got all of the worlds map, you can get a random prize. (I got a CRAP petpet paint brush but you can still get very nice PBs from this)

theres a level 1, 2, and 3 map for each world. level 3 is an automatic paintbrush (no basic colors). level 1 could be anything from a codestone to a pirate paint brush
