:O LOL!!!!!!!! Honestly i don't find that very surprising, i mean all of our learning is really just memorizing stuff so if we train our brain to memorize stuff better who needs and iq?
Well, I'm screwed Anyways, I've never really used Twitter, but I would think that some of those youtube videos would make you smarter.... And lol at the follow us with Twitter link. :maha:
I've never used Twitter, but I'm interested in looking at it as a marketing tool. Scared to sign up in case I become addicted though. That's the sort of thing that tends to happen with me... :/ I just love the use of the word "twit" in the title. It's such an English word! Also, when I first read the title, I read it as "Twitter turns you into a twit, but Facebook makes you a face"
Lol, I'm a total youtube addict, and I follow a ton of people on twitter too. Plus, I have no facebook account. Yet I'm pretty confident that I have very good working memory.
Same here Tricia! One thing being that i'd probably have very little people following given the fact that the FB craze hasn't yet died, and I find that if yu wanna update status you can always do it on FB too; I have an acct and there are people adding me {Found me from email address} But yeah...as of now i'm not that interested :/ Still more stuck with FB. But yes YT...lots of favorites..lots of videos viewd..lots of..yeah I go on it too much u_u
I think this linked article is rather interesting, as well http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/edito ... -21656743/ Anyways. My AP World Studies teachers have decided that for everyone who forgets to use their agendas/has texting, they'll send you homework lists each day. (Some of my friends have signed up for texting just for that.) And I think I'm good as far as working memory goes.
i used Myspace before, but i forgot about it, never used Twitter, but now i use face book to keep in touch with my cousins and my year 8 teacher who moved to america with his wife. YAY! IM NOT A TWIT
I have a twitter account, but I barely use it. Facebook i'm logged into constantly 'cos I keep a browser tab of it open and this pc's also the house's media server (i.e. people stream films and stuff from this pc on the tv downstairs etc) so it's on 24/7. Not sure facebook's making me smarter, but it's not hindering my potential... lol
I use neither, IMO the target audience of both sites are too dumb for the mental effects to really make any difference.
Twitter is ridiculous IMO. I don't care what people are up to every minute of every day, and I certainly don't want to be limited to 140 characters when I want to talk.
I really like face book.... But my friends introduced my to twitter and i used it for a day and quit...I dont see anything special about it...
Hah, that's why I don't use Twitter, because I'm smarter than everyone else who does. It all makes sense
