Does anyone use it? Would anyone recommend it?

Does anyone know how to dual install so that you still have windows but also ubuntu on one computer?

Never heard of if until this though it does look pretty nice. Organized which is a must for me.

You can run it within windows,

first you will need Oracle VM VirtualBox

http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/virtualbox/ has a great installation tutorial for both virtualbox and unbuntu here.

    Good luck!

I geek squad guy told me that it was much less virus prone than windows. I download a lot of tv shows and thought it might be safer. I not planning on doing anything fancy with it but since you can supposedly have both systems on one computer I thought it would be cool to try.

I bit the bullet and did it. Thus far I like the system and don't mind having to choose between the two on start-up.

Ubuntu's really great. Replace unity with gnome 3 and you're gonna love it!!
