I replaced my 3GB ram with new Kingston 2GBx2 sticks. BUT NOW, when I go to control panel > system, all it says under RAM is exactly this: "2.00GB" Don't know what to do now.
I'll bet you're running a 32 bit version of Windows. I won't get into the technical details, but basically 32 bit OSs/computers won't natively support 4 GB of RAM. Read this: http://4sysops.com/archives/why-windows ... its-users/
Wow seriously? >< I kind of noticed cuz I put the 1GB stick back in and it reads 3GBs. Ah well i'll go exchange it then. Thanks again Zer0
I don't like buying things tharoux Unless the upgrade is free which I mean..come on..it's windows.
I'm not smart enough to use a linux :O I might consider switching Mac, actually I AM switching Mac for my laptop in Uni; But I am seriously so anal about having no right click.
there are patches to allow it to address more than 3.5gb, here's a simple-ish guide: http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/200 ... gb-memory/ hope this helps
I think you hold alt and click in order to right click. but you can set up those mice with one button to where if you hit the left or right side, it does a left or right click.
I'm going to pull a commy. Seriously though, I can't stand the no-right-click thing either. I think it's ridiculous.
:O Phee for a second I thought you were Commy! The mouse doesn't feel that great either, i'm used to the wheel on microsoft mouses.
Scroll balls only belong on blackberries. The mouse for the mac is... a bit off. It doesn't feel right and it isn't molded to the hand like I like. This mouse is, by far, my favorite mouse I've ever used.
