Upgrading my ABer

So I've been using Ricky's GM Autobuyer for quite some time and I really like it, but even with fast loads (2-5) I tend to miss a lot and was wondering what would be the next best thing to use, I was thinking about getting AU but I'm 200 something points away from it and such...So is there any other good abers that don't cost quite as much

 

I think au can't be purchased for points anymore.

How good is Heya's compared to Ricky's if you've ever used it? I want an ABer that can do multi shops but if Heya's is really good then I don't need the multi. How fast is the MS for buys?

 

No idea, I haven't installed Heya's.
Is ricky's multiple shop?

I think buy times are generally almost the same

 

No Ricky's is only one shop, but it's pretty simple and good.

 

Try multiple ABing shells with multiple firefox profiles this way you can run it many times

 

ahh good idea, but that doesn't solve the problem of missing items a lot, I miss 2/3 of items that have 1 in stock

 

It's pretty hard to get a lot of those items when you don't get a perfect refresh :<

 

Hmm true, I might try balancing semi-legit restocking, with using an ABer, might be better for me to do that. I'll see x_x

 

You say you miss a lot, but what shop/shops are you in? Some are more popular then others so misses shouldn't be something to be surprised about. Also the faster the internet connection the quicker the buyer is as well. So I don't know how much different it would be going from GM ABer to another GM ABer. There is also the luck factor... sometimes I start ABing and see tons of restocks and multiple items per restock, other times I barely see any since my timing is off. There are a lot of factors to optimize your ABing efforts no matter which Aber you are using.

I'm only in Pharm right now due to my account being newbie status, I also just prioritized my list cause some items on my list I can't see yet, so I put the most common ones on top and such for now.

 

yup ABing is also luck. I miss tons too.
For firefox profiles, to increase the chances of a perfect refresh, you could either have two profiles at the same shop, or open more tabs aiming at the same shop

oh and what's the freeze rate of a GM ABer? I haven't been frozen yet. And is ricky's GM ABer a download here

That is my speedtest, not sure whether or not that is good or mediocre, can anyone tell me?

 

So since it's pharm, only the UBS restock a limited amount. So like Eggs and Soap you should get 2-3 on a weekday per restock on non-peek times. (At least I could do that legit back in the day.) Less on the weekends for obv. reasons. And if you get less it's either due to late refresh and/or lag. =/

I had to buy Ricky's off of him, I believe it cost me 2mill well worth it IMO, nonetheless, Ive used it for 6-10 months and never been frozen for using it, I was iced for SSing on my other account, long story short it was semi-wrong. But never been frozen for GM Aber.

 

I usually get 3 soaps, 2 eggs but I miss Cactopus Cream and others every time.

 

I got a couple of soaps yesterday with my GM ABer
pharm should get you profit, I get a 50-50 chance of buying and missing there.

 

Now I just noticed something, with Ricky's GM autobuyer, when I use multi tabs in the same shop, I get the no stock error and it keeps refreshing that page, Shawn which GM ABer do you use? Does it do that as well?

 

We are about the same on the test, so that probably isn't your problem. (I was actually slower on the DL, but I have a game running in the background ATM >.<) As for freeze rates, as long as you are smart ABing you will be fine (Unless you are very unlucky) I've been frozen more over SSing then ABing =/
