    After reading this http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/h ... 105832.stm
(not the most unbiased, but still fairly informative), I am wondering what will happen to the Democratic majorities in Congress.

Since Obama and the Democrats have failed to immediately magic away the recession, Republicans and the Tea Party will most likely gain House and Senate seats by riding on a wave of "anti-politics, anti-government, anti-incumbent, and anti-elite" sentiment. However, this sentiment has led to the rise of candidates with questionable abilities, such Christine O'Donnell, who beat the Republican party's favored Senate candidate in the primaries after endorsements by Sarah Palin and Tea Party groups.

What do you think of this apparent radicalization of conservative groups? What do you think the Republicans will do, if they eliminate the Democratic majority in the House (or even the Senate as well)?

first of, i am British, so i dont care about republicans or democrats. i am not either.

i believe republicans will make no difference. they are using the excuse that things arent getting done quick enough to get themselves into office. the american public are looking for someone to blame and things will take time, they have to be patient. obama had a bigger job on his hands that bush ever had.

you cant question his motivation because we all wish the recession would go away with a click of a finger.

personally i hate politicians they all try and steal for themselves all of em end up in some fraud story...

If republicans break the Democratic majority in the House, they ought to undo Obama's healthcare plan.
