type in glubgar midgame for an extra life the shiny bubbles give you 5 seconds of invulnerability. click to fly up, let go of the click to descend. use c to slow glubgar's speed and v to speed it up past rocks yellow gems are worth 10 bonus points and red ones are worth 20. minimum socre for an avatar is 1500 with your first life, do NOT grab any gems. grabbing gems makes the game harder. skip all the gems and go for as high a distance as you can. try to get something over 1000 here. your next 2 (or 3) lives are used solely for getting as many gems as you can. your total distance is added to your total bonus to get your final score. *one of the rocks in the game has a secret message. ill let you try to find it :lol:
Nice guide. I was trying to grab a gajillion gems the first level. I guess thats why I wasn't doing good.
Ahh (sorry for bumping this) but I just had to say, great guide! It helped me alot, although I am a bad gamer (on a laptop) so the buttons are a bit harder, but anyways, I was almost close to the avatar. +rep
I hate this new volcano run. I've only played it 3 times, and I got 1300 at best. Volcano Run used to be the main source of my income. I could get to the 4000s like nothing.
How do you guys score so high? I can't even hit 1k, though I'm extremely close to that. Any other tips?
It's really, really easy. Go fast through tunnels, slow down, slow down when they get bigger. Fire means bonuses. Bonuses means fire. Look for the other before you go for one. get 500 distance, and then get the bonus.
