So they just published the guaranteed requirements to go to university. And I don't meet them Wahhh wahhh wahh. I hope they accept me anyway because I did a nice application ^___^ Anyway, if I don't get accepted I am stuck with work for at least another year. And I will go in the army for at least 4 months (well that's kinda okay) I just really wanted to go back to school. MEHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK MY LIFEEEEEEEEE
They put the requirements for grades higher this year. So, you have to have an average of 7.5, where mine is 5.8 =/ It sucks. But they put them higher because more people applied .. But I kinda saw it coming, therefore I wrote an application (if you don't meet the requirements, you can apply this way. If I did have the grades, I wouldn't have to write an application). Just hope they like my app and let me in =P
Ah that sucks. Hopefully you'll get in because of you application. -fingers crossed- When are they letting you know if you got in or not?
University isn't all there is, but good luck with your application. Which course have you applied for?
Thank you, Ak <3 Jagerrr, hmm, I don't think they will be judging my app because of my face. It's not hooters Coldness, they are letting me know the 30th of july o.o which is super late, since the course starts in august. Commy, YES it is all there is I really only wanna go to uni, I couldn't picture myself anywhere else.. So I guess I just have to keep trying. Well, of course I could be a police officer, which would be my very last option : P I've applied for a course that revolves around society, psychology etc. It's a bit hard to explain, but it's a "basis" study that takes two years, and after that I can read on in a "main subject" of my own choice
With a great attitude like that, i'm sure you'll do fine. In Australia we have TAFE, which gets you a diploma. Many people see it as a bridging course to university, for those who weren't able to get in through the normal means. Do you have something like that? And hey, suppose one of us here could tell you first hand the pros and cons of being a police officer. Nudge. Nudge.
Hmm, I don't think we have something like that? :/ We have the option I did, which was send a personal application instead of "just" applying (which is just by sending in a form that you'd wanna go there) And haha, yes I know - but my dad's a police officer, so I kinda have it first hand already XD
Ah I'm sure you will get in! I won't be here for support but you can pretend i am I will remember to keep my fingers crossed for you. Goood luck!! <3
Don't worry. Its never too late to enroll in University. I enrolled out of high school but out of certain circumstances i wasn't able to complete it and started to work for 3 yrs. Now I just finished a semester and currently studying Law enforcement studies at the Justice Institute Of Britich Columbia. That would be cool if you became a police officer. Thats what my main goal is right now lol... what are the requirements for policing in your area. i have to have at least two years of post secondary to apply. Just work hard and you will be rewarded. don't give up.
Oh yeah, I just really wanna get started now, I hate waiting another year when I know what I wanna do :/ Policing? Just a college diploma, which I got last year (takes 3 years here). And you have to be 21. I'm 20 now, but will be 21 by January. So if I go to the army for 4 months, I will be a bit over 21 which would be perfect. Just not so sure yet that this is what I want (policing....) But you are right. I just have to believe in it. Law of attraction
