Haha, you could say the same about downloading movies. As for streaming movies, I think it might be a bit of a waste of bandwidth. If you want to watch it again, you'd have to stream it again. Some people may like it, because it's fast.
Do not multiple post. Just edit your last post, that way it doesn't clog up the thread. As for watching a movie, such as Nim's island on a website, how do you think you can watch it? You are still downloading the movie, except instead of downloading it for you to watch in one lump sum, streaming downloads and shows what it has downloaded straight away. So really, you are still downloading, it's just that you have the luxury of watching it straight away. While some people may like that, I would rather download it fully, if I want to watch it again. But streaming is a convenient, fast way, so I can understand why some people would choose it. Especially if it has the option of jumping ahead, much like youtube
streaming is illegal, commyaji just explained exactly how it is illegal. it's still downloading the movie in a way, you can just watch it immediately. that's not to say i haven't streamed movies, it just shouldn't be posted about here. i don't think anyone is going to link you to a site.
