for all those up north or that deal with snow around now is anyone sick and tired of it. I cant wait for winter to be over. or at least my snow blower to be fixed lol. whats everyone elses veiw on cold and snow just wondering
At the beginning of the snowfall.. i was like this is alright my brother loved playing out in the snow. same with my GF and I .. we went up to whistler and everything but after that it became boring.. having to shovel my 100 yard driveway thats on a 45 degree slope with 2-3 ft of snow on it with a thick layer of ice started to become just plain stupid. I got so sick of the snow because you could not even go anywhere because my driveway was so bad. so i stayed at my parents house and never left. my Girlfriend and I stayed while my sister visited and my nephew with my younger brother and my parents... there were way to many people in the house i got cabin fever harsh ... but the snow wouldnt stop falling so like that commercial i started to cry and had the urge to hit small fluffy animals and wish i was somewhere else. lol...
that sucks i have about 50 yards of driveway and its flat so i dont have it that bad its just here it snows than ice than snows again I just wish it would just choose one or the other
ITS GONNA BE A SNOWDAY TOMORROW! ;-) No just kidding, the snow in New York isn't really sticking. We aren't getting a lot of ice over here, just mushy sleet/snow. :'( Canada probably has a lot of snow right now. Lucky bas*****!!!! I think I will move to canada. I've only had a single snow day in the past 3 years... -.-
A cold front has just come through so it's gonna be nice and cold People are too "sensitive" to cold weather, I can wear shorts in 20º while they are complaining about "freezing" lol. Especially in Florida, .
Born and raised in northern virginia but living in florida.. this "cold" is a like a warm sunny day for me.
We're not really snowing much anymore. It's more of the conflict with how cold or warm it gets. The road's been slippery for a week or two now and there have been so many accidents, not just cars, but actually people walking on sidewalks getting hurt. Especially for the elderly, sometimes a single fall causes great misfortune. I dunno our city's sanding even residential areas now and they usually don't do it. But yeah they do now..as much as we get snow here, Winter's actually my favorite season.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday was heavy snow here (UK). A large majority of Uni was outside at like 1am throwing snow! . Had no lectures so far this week aswell! <3 Snow.
after living in ct for 20 years i just wanna get the heck out of cold all the time lol. I was thing about moving to CA like middle its not always cold and not always hot lol
It beats where i live . lol.. normally it rains all winter here with the occacional snowfall but we got it bad this year lol.. >
Where I live we usually tend to get a decent amount of snowfall throughout the year (Kansas City)...but this year I think the most we've gotten at once is about 3 inches ...its just been completely freezing cold or its been really warm. Last weekend it was 70 degrees!
*stops by to brag a little* My place doesn't get snow... I live in Southern Arizona so its pretty dry and mild through the winter. We sometimes get snow on the mountains. And occasional rain. But then in the summer we get monsoons... in other words... extreme on and off rain, very unpredictable.
Try living in a country where it averages at the temperature of 40 degrees celcius :S It is boiling here!
After three years of living in Ohio I'll be glad if I never see snow again. We did have a pretty decent snowstorm here a few weeks back but it was gone in two days. Gotta love SoCal.
It's almost always sunny around here. I wish we had some snow D: Although we have been getting rain this week ;] California FTW
It's night time here, but it was pretty sunny today and mild. This winter has been colder than others. It is usually either REALLY sunny and hot, or it is rainy.
Im not sure where you guys are from but over here in the UK there was the biggest snowfall for over 20 year last weekend, which isnt saying much in comparison to the snow that falls in the rest of europe or canada but still was pretty substantial. What i found funny was how the whole of the south east of england grinded to a halt, literally, no transport, no shops; nothing. Was fun for a while but then rather annoying!
winter in iowa is a fucking joke. its literally -20 one day with a massive blizzard, and 40 the next but a high wind chill or something. its so annoying. its been warm (55-60 degrees) every day this week except today which is about 25. protip: stay away from the midwest.
