This competition will be a freestyle, meaning that you can do anything you want with it. This week's competition: Happy New Year! I thought that since the New Year is almost here, we'd have an image that suits the season (even though it's a chomby day image ) The image you will manipulate is: You can make it any size you want, as long as it doesn't completely overwhelm my screen or stretch the board or anything evil like that. It can be animated if you would like. You can find a bigger sized image at http://images.neopets.com/backgrounds/1024by768_chomby_day_2006.zip This week's entries will end on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 omg 2007) Voting will end on January 5th. graphics Ack, mine goes all pixely when I save it as a GIF or JPEG, so this is the PSD file: http://www.sendmefile.com/00492087 Awhile ago I uninstalled apind by accident lol so could someone printscreen the PSD, put it in paint and upload it somewhere? I would really appriciate it...
Re: graphics If I open it in Photoshop7, then Save for Web as JPG with 100 quality, I get this: http://baka-koneko.com/images/other/impega_c2.jpg Okay or no? And maybe I'll enter later~
you totally won already impega....great artwork! howd u get that grid in the backround to make it all look pixelzed or somthing
pattern Make a 3x3 pixel page, delete the background, use the pencil too and draw a diagonal line from top right to bottom left (or top left to bottom right). Then go to Edit > Define Pattern Then, to fill a layer, select the paint bucket tool, and in the bar at the top change colour to pattern and select your pattern =D
can you possibly descirbe it step by step in gimp? im using gimp even though i have photoshop because it is much simpler... oh and even though i know impega's going to win.... heres my entry
Different Font, Size, Brushes, Text and Contrast and it looks the same? Besides, Sircharles used vector/other brushes at the bottom, I used Grunge and C4D brushes in it. The only 2 things that are the same is that our work is both dark looking, and we used the same stock.
