On the way home this morning I was listening to the news and heard of 3 things that are on BO's list already to speak to President Bush about today. One is the drilling in Utah. He wants to 'minimize' it because it is destroying the land. BS!!! I grew up in the oil patch and I KNOW first hand it does NOT destroy the land. I know for a fact it is left in good condition and usually better since the companies are required to do/add so many different things.
The second thing on his agenda is stem cell research :( I don't even want to go into that.
Another thing he has a hard on about is another stimulus package. It's such crap! Give everyone a few hundred dollars. BFD.

Cause Bush did such a great job for our country,... He lied to our faces so many time .. Just a while ago.... Recession what recession the economy is so great... if he was not sure he should have not said anything at all... Even if BO does some good you guys would never admit it anyways..

well when running a topic like this the person who starts it usually doesn't show bias but obviously you cant get over the fact that McCain lost. so stop whining and crying and calling BO a communist because he isn't for one and he hasn't had the chance to lead the country yet. I know that my opinion does not weigh as an American citizen but people ll around the world think this is a good change for your country. So i say step up and stop complaining the election is done and support your country for christ sake.

I'm hoping you're just trolling here, because socialism and communism is not the same thing.
If you actually look on a world map (not one that only shows 45 states), you'll see that many of the most successful countries in terms of healthcare, economy growth, education, smaller rift between the classes etc. are run by socialist governemnts, while communist governments tend to fail.
But hey, if you want: your country to be hated by the rest of the world (again), increase the rift between the classes, your economy go down the drain because of billions spent on phoney wars, healthcare to cost a fortune or any other wrong-doings to your fellow Americans; there's always next election. :)

Phobia, Cheeto there is a reason you can't vote until you're 18. And I am so glad that is a law. Personally I think the voting age should be 19 or 20.

I've noticed if you want to scare the majority of American's all you have to do is say it's socialist or communist why else would people be happy that their country is pretty much the only rich western country without universal healthcare? When the corrupt Bush administration wanted to keep their pockets lined with drug companies money they just labelled universal healthcare socialist it's become such a propaganda word like anti-American which sounds like it came straight out of the Nazi regime. Millions of people in such a rich country go without healthcare it's disgraceful.

Hear hear. And I'm not being arrogant. I'm sixteen and I think the voting age should be raised to 21.

I know! I watched a documentary about their lack of healthcare and it's really sad to be honest. People really need help, but the US government find the stupidest excuse to reject a person's claim for health care. {They rejected some girl cuz they said she was too fat, and some guy because he was under weight} also they killed a lot of people because they refused to help. They let a black guy die even though they found someone who could give him a bone marrow or whatever those are called, but they rejected his application and he died. My point is, yeah they just assume that socialist ideas will cause people to want more government control, which is lame cuz a lot of places have universal healthcare and you don't see those country turning into a Hitler, or a Stalin, or a Mao Ze Dong >_>

MC, as Virre and Ang have told me before, you don't have to be 18 to form an opinion.

Buuuurn. You're opinion in fact does not matter(except to yourself). So many kids 13-16 have been complaining and moaning because McCain lost. Seriously, if you HAVE done your research and want to battle it out with someone who voted for Obama send me a PM and we can debate. But if you haven't done research and are going to be ignorant don't expect a polite reply from me. Obama IS our present and I could never be more happier about it! McCain and Palin would of had American back in a black hole.

Wow, that's harsh. There's alot of people in this thread that are not allowed to vote because of their age but the only people I see some of you complain about are those who wanted McCain to win. So instead of using strong arguments and facts to win this battle, you're ignoring them.
Cheeto hasn't been rude in this discussion, so there's no need to clarify that he should be polite.
My opinion doesn't matter either, since I can't vote in US elections, but I would rather have seen McCain win, than people supporting him not being allowed to discuss the election.

And MC, this message was not a response to your post only, it's more of a general message to all those that have bashed McCain supporters in this thread.
    Bad, baaaaaaad neofriends.net users... :nope:
