Ok so I have been autobuying for a while but lately I have been getting restock banned a lot. I have not changed times on my autobuyer or anything nor have I changed shops and im a bit worried the TNT is on to me but what can I do to get them off my case without having to give up autobuying?
IMO, change a side..set your refresh rates at a "safer" range like 5-8.. do not, i repeat DO NOT AB on your main..and don't transfer the items/neopoints that u got/earn via ABing as soon as u get them..wait like at least 2-4days before u transfer them..
I go through phases where I get restock banned ALL the time. Like, at least once a day.. and my ban times ended up being over 24hours... so it was bad. I don't think that has any impact on if they see you as a cheater or not. I'd be waiting a bit longer than 2-4 days to transfer tooo. Transer in fewer, but larger amounts. And use items that are easily obtainable (Like HT items)... as they draw less attention than those that are rare. As for getting them off the "scent" - If they were on, you'd know You'd be iced.
I've been spending my days ABing at the post office for stamps so when I get one I am most often putting it directly into my stamp album. If I pick up a stamp that I already have I either put it in my shop or my SDB depending on how rare it is. But I get the RS ban all the time too, I just stop for a day or so and then go again...I have restocking times tho (4-7 seconds) so it is likely believable to be an actual person and not an AB'er... Just be careful...don't try to be too hasty and don't AB/RS in high risk shops (Magic, etc)... Other than that, just relax your times and be happy with what you nab... B)
On that note.. With refresh times... in all serousness. How long can a REAL person sit there and refresh at exactly 4 - 7 seconds for Try widening the numbers.. I use times up to 10 seconds and have no trouble nabbing restocks It is possible.
I don't keep it running for extremely long periods of time...maybe an hour at a time and only a couple of times a day...but I see your point...as my main becomes more valuable I should try to be more careful Thanks for the tip Mr Tipster!
Thanks for all the tips! The only thing though is if I set my refresh rate up to 10 in higher profit shops which I would like to be in then I will likely miss items
Yes you will miss some items but you will not miss every item - if you are willing to be patient you will be able to rake in a decent profit with a long refresh rate.
Like I said.. I Rs in high profit shops... Magic, Meri Foods... Stamp (can be good )..Usually the only thing that fails me are SLOW buy times.. not that I don't see the items. I see plenty of good items go through... Greed is what gets people caught.. so what if you dont get every item.. You still get some! Remember that and you should be fine...
