Motorola. I've had several and they hold up well to my abuse.

Nokia. They're very tough- drop it and it'll still work! Drop an iphone on a hard surface 1.5m off the ground, and you'll have a cracked screen. My friend had many phones before Nokias, once she started getting Nokia's, she couldn't break them! LOL
Liquid kills them, however, as does internal faults (my second one died because of a well known antenna problem)

I'm used to them too, and hate trying to text on other brands of phone...

    I like Sony Ericsson a lot. =D
Reception is great for mine, and it holds up to damage quite well. I've dropped it on concrete a couple of times. xP

I have a BBerry (along with everyone and their mother I know) and I love it - easy texting, quick response time - the only issue I have is that the apps suck!! Someday's it makes me sad lol

Haha. The idea of radioactive phones scare me! I don't want to get old to find out I have cancer in my ear from talking on the phone too much!

I'd have to say Nokia. I think I've only ever had Nokias, LGs, and Motorolas, and so far Nokias are the only ones that haven't glitched on me yet! :maha:

If you want durability, i'd say Nokia {They're improving on looks so it seems}. I like the way n97 and the n97 mini turned out, except the functions are laggy. I have heard some amazing stories about Nokia phones being dropped and still survived.

For unique-ness & long battery life, i'd have to go with sony ericsson. It might be because i'm using a smartphone now, but two years ago when I had to replace my Japanese phone with a w580i, I was impressed at how I can go a whole week without charging my battery. Also because you can make themes for it and customize it to your liking. For designer junkies like me that's definitely a plus.

HTC...I did like the old HTC touch. Except..I really don't like phones that use that windows mobile software.

iPhone...meh LOL. I am an Apple fan but my personal preferences don't allow me to like touch screen keyboards. iTouch is enough for me.

Uhhh..for other stuff..like looks and styles and what not, Japanese phones win by a lot for brands like Sharp's docomo phones as one example.
LG {Japanese released ones} look pretty nice too. Google LG lollipop for a grand example. However, LG phones that got released into Canada/USA, HORRIBLE. LG chocolate? That was so long ago so they have an excuse. LG Xenon, had a HUGE defect batch, menus are weird, menus aren't too special. Then again nice looking phone lacks functions, the menus of my japanese phones weren't that impressive. It looked really...non-high tech?

Hmm that's bout it..I used all the phones except a Samsung and Motorola. I despise them.

Hah wow..I didn't even realize my bad habits of switching phones until I typed all this out...hopefully my blackberry will stick, and that is why blackberry is my current choice :)

Why am I critical...LOL imma shut up now..

I've had nokia and LG in the past but I am way too in love with my iPhone. It happens to also be my first smart phone, so I'm probably biased but its so nice and easy to use and I basically have my entire life on it at this point.

True this, they're extremelly simple to use.. Except for my mother 8D; She didn't know where the power button was for like 4 years until I told her two days ago. I was like "srsly?" I mean.. She never gave her phone a rest lol
