What do you think makes an account look trustworthy?

-Painted pets?
-Trophies
-Game scores
-avatars

Anything else? I'm going to start abing soon and i want to be prepared.

 

I think you got the most important stuff right there already.

 

Guild, Battledome, running a spiderer on the account to make sure it visits lots of links other than shops.

I think say spidering for an hour, then ABing in a high-freeze shop for 20 mins, then spidering for another 30 mins, as well as having all of the things mentioned above, you're as safe as you can be.

Some people use proxies too, but I don't bother.

 

I don't know if the Neopets team can tell if you have a bank account set up, but do that. Otherwise, I can imagine they may think you're just on the account to get some NP and then do what you will with them. With a bank account, at least it makes it look like saving NP isn't temporary, if you see what I'm saying.

Also, maybe set up a shop, just in case. *Shrug*

I dont think avatars necessarily make an account look legit. There are many ways to cheat and get avatars... One of my accounts is 7 days old and has 92 avatars.... im sure if TNT didnt suck at their jobs they wudda caught me months ago....

maybe they'll send you random neomails saying "HI HOW R U?" and expect you to reply =X

 

No, they don't pay more attention to you, and it's a little easier to get your account back.
At least it was for me...

 

avatars, lots and lots of games played, simple (but time consuming) trophies earned, shop items priced unsuspiciously (14000, instead of 14275 etc)

 

how can u steal something from somebody?... U mean she like hacked u and stole your stuff, or cheated you on the TP or something? lol I want to steal a HP from some1 hahaha

Custom lookups make it no more trustworthy than regular ones...if only because a lot of people don't have custom look ups.
The main thing is having something about your pet be unique. Be it the color to show that you're the kind of person that saves to paint their pets or the stats and battledome guild to make it seem like you're into battling.
Don't try going over the top.

Even then...I personally don't think it matters. People get frozen all the time regardless of their status on neo.

I think if you just use the account like you normally would, would make it look trustworthy. Play your games everyday, do your dailies, go on the boards, chit chat, be part of a guild.. this and that..

I'm part of a smaller board on there and I'm a regular (obviously, I won't state my name) and I play games for 30k+ everyday and i help people and i buy stuff and i sell stuff.. I think I'm pretty safe..

Make a gallery and place some stuff. TNT thinks you might want to showcase some of your items. Furnish your neohome a bit too. Overall try not to stick out too much.

 

I've just been frozen. I was in a guild, had a battle pet, over 100 secret avatars, a gallery ( dubloons ), played games everyday, never did sponsor links, and I chat pretty much. And I had a custom userlookup. I ABed for 2 hours a day. So I guess TNT doesn't care about that all.

 

I guess I should have mentioned that I don't AB.

If you don't AB, you're pretty safe already.
