Previously had an internship/on-the-job training in the Quality Assurance Department of a company that manufactured boilers/HRSGs/pipes. We did tests like hydro, penetrant, ultrasonic, etc. As of now I'm employed at a company called JG Summit Petrochemical Corp. as a Field Technician. Basically, I just make sure everything runs smoothly, additives get added in right amounts, monitor the machines, etc. B)
I haven't had a /real/ job yet, being only 15. But I'm helping set up for WARPED TOUR THIS YEAR! <3 OMG I get to meet all the bands. omg :O :O :O
Last job was an internship as Game Producer - Worked at a company with very nice persons but ended up not having enough work to keep me busy (spending ones day doing nothing at all is not my thing, as it turns out x) ). Bit of a disappointment internshipwise, but made some nice friends overall. Payment was crap though. Harrr.
My last "real" job was software engineer for Rockwell (Allen-Bradley). Now I pretty much just trade the ES (S&P) futures for a few hours a day. I also swing trade a few stocks now and then.
I'm assuming you get backstage passes since your helping set up, so I'm interested to know what bands you meet/if any during the concert. That sounds super cool! Keep us updated And my last job was working in a hospital, as a sort of nurses aide. Before that I was a server at Ruby Tuesday. Currently unemployed and being a bum for the summer
I've never had an actual legit paying job. I like to volunteer at a cat shelter, though. The main 'job' I have there is bottle-feeding baby kittens. I also clean stuff, fill food/water bowls, and hang out with kittens and cats. Lots of fun.
Right now im a server at a country club. Last summer i was a engineering intern for a industrial bakery. I only have one more summer till I graduate college. I can wait!!
