i bought this game for my xbox 360 and then after 30 mins i realised that you had to pay to play per month, my question is, is it worth playing? i was heavily addicted to final fantasy 7/8/9. Is it like any of these or is it similar to sumthing like WoW or diablo?
If Your Talking about Final Fantasy, Its Awesome. I Would Defintley Pay To Play It. I Havent Played that one, but i Played the last few ones, and theyre extremely Good.
ya the one i bought for my 360 was Final Fantasy XI, i think it merges the online game play with the ps2 and computer players so im not sure if playing via a console would disadvantage you in some ways, i guess i could always buy a keyboard for my xbox360 haha
I have a friend who has the game and he loved it...that was until he got to the higher levels and if you die once you go down 3 WHOLE LEVELS!!! The only thing that would make it boring is you grinding by choosing commands and watching the animations. If It were more like kingdom hearts or the "Tales of" series you might enjoy it alot better
I played the game for 4 years. I have also played WoW for 2 years. In my opinion FFXI is a much, much better game. It revolves around friendships while WoW really revolves around doing things yourself. Much fonder memories from FFXI.
It is a fantastic game and I would strongly reccomend it to anyone. Been playing since late 2004 and I've never taken a break longer than a few months. Be warned though, to anyone considering playing it: FF XI is a tremendous time sink and it can swallow your life like no other MMORPG can.
Everything about the game is brilliant the game play the partys everything you dont drop 3 lvels as one person aid its more like you lose 10% exp and when its 45k tnl thats a shit load of exp to lose but now there is besieged and the other crap its easy to solo exp. I had a hume mnk @75 with about 20mil in equip (gotta love the hASTE ON BLACK BELT :d) If you play for a month you will be addicted promise
