So, in trying to play mostly honestly, I bookmarked my favorite games - games that I had the skill to naturally get a high enough score on for 1000NP and didn't take a forever - and now it seems like on all my games it now takes THREE TIMES as high a score to get 1000NP as it did yesterday?!? What, are they trying to encourage cheating? Fricken brainless wonders...
no the ratios change on the 25th of the month, sometimes it makes ratios for some games really hard to get 1k np sometimes it makes them really eazy
Yes they change frequently. I'd like to add that they are becoming less and less fun to play ( the new ones )
They just like to screw people as someone here said. I agree but they also want to destroy all those game based guides everyone searched for on the neoboards not a long ago
Does anyone know why they change the game ratios? I really see no point to it other than to piss people(*raises hand*) like me off.
I'm guessing its to balance the games. You know, make the less popular games more popular and decrease the popularity of popular games. -shrug- @fastbullet your siggy hurts my eyes
Let's look at Shenkuu Warrior, when it was fairly new. You needed a score of 200~ for 1,000NP. That was, you get to level 3 and send score. Destruct-o-Match 3, for the first day of it coming out. You got to 1010, and you got 1k NP. That's a three minute game, if you're doing Double Trouble Extreme. They bounce around ratios to make the majority of people put some effort into getting an easy 3k.
They're idiots, because half the games already have ratios so low it's not humanly possible to get 1000NP/game without cheating and in other games the ratio is so low even if you cheat and max out you can't get 1000NP.... wth, I need to get a job w/neopets.com and head up the Common Sense Department.
