I've tried cPanel and DirectAdmin so far. The conclusions I can take out of it are that cPanel has a very very simple interface and everything is just one click away. It has some bugs though and is quite incomplete. DirectAdmin (my fav) has a cool design and also has a simple interface. It has more features than cPanel too, I guess.
Lol it's that thing where you log in to check your domain stats when you own a site, which is like a portal to most things you can do to manage your domain.
not many people here own a site  probably not appropriate to ask this question here as most people wont know what it is..... but maybe expon will know 8)
you're right about cPanel, but most hosts use it cause it's "quick and dirty". I can navigate it in my sleep. I've only used DirectAdmin once and it's very good so when my hosting switches their servers, hopefully they'll have DirectAdmin available. It'll be a tossup which is better after cPanel 11 comes out. I did like the multi-domain/reseller aspect of it.
