I use bittorrents from torrent sights using google, but do any of you go to certain sites that offer free direct downloads? if so why not post what they are and what manga/anime you download from them.
i mainly watch naruto i use direct download sites. =X not sure if i'm allowed to post sites here. PM me if you want them
i actually chat on http://www.narutofan.com but you have to pay to download any manga or anime directly (so i dont use it for that)
I don't see why people don't use bittorrent. It's so much more convenient. I direct download the rmvb versions of anime, since my cable internet is limited. They tend to be much smaller, and i just get my friends who download the anime to burn the good quality versions for me. http://www.bleachexile.com/bleach%20ani ... loads.html Bleach direct downloads. Need to register though http://overloadx.com/index.php?page=med ... onepiece11 Here's an extensive list of rmvb downloads for a lot of anime. I just use this to download one piece. http://www.narutocentral.com/news/ Requires registration. RMVB downloads. http://www.narutochaos.com/ I haven't visited this in a while, but you can direct download whole episodes here, not rmvb. Requires registration http://www.naruto-kun.com/ Same as above http://www.dattebayo.com/ Here's the torrent site for Genshiken, Naruto and Bleach, among others. I reckon DB are one of the more reliable subber groups. http://www.mininova.org/ This is the main site i use to search for torrents. Has a pretty extensive list, with lots of anime
thing is, recently comcast (the main provider of high speed internet access in america) has been straddling p2p sharing (aka bittorrents); meaning you will get a 1kb trickle.. maybe. its becoming a major problem for many people so its always good to have a backup plan in case comcast strikes you. *found my way to the argument from http://lifehacker.com/ *
I download torrents directly from sub-groups using baka updates to search, or from direct download sites. And I must say I love dattebayo (my all time favorite sub-group) . They're subs are so nicely done.
http://www.animesuki.com - For stuff not licensed yet but tons of anime, watched Naruto from there for 2/3 years http://www.thepiratebay.org - Not just anime but the big stuff is there, I don't recomend using any American torrent tracker sites. You'll need a bit torrent client, I recommend utorrent for it's small system footprint, ease of use, settings and speed(probably a personal thing but I just find it faster. http://www.utorrent.com http://www.tv-links.co.uk - Was awesome for anime but the MAFIAA recently shut it down, do a google search for similar- sites they will have many licensed series. emule is nice but I fear it'll turn into another limewire fiasco. http://www.4chan.com for the more bizarre stuff.(after reading the rules I want to let you all that some of those boards have material 18+ but there is much great SFW content as well, just enter at your own discretion) Avatar is kind of a hybrid. It's classified as an American cartoon but the anime influences are obvious, much like Teen Titans. Episodes 5-9 is out on thepiratebay but now I have to wate 3 weeks for a new episode XD
i've actually looked into mIRC-ing; unless you had a guide and some known places to go to you will most likely get lost and , like i did, find your way into some chat room about anime. but not about downloading it
