I found i have been much more "tempered" when receiving these crap offers.
Weeks ago, i would get angry and punish them for their rudeness & greediness by neomailing them.

While recently, when more than five offers each worth less than 30k offered on my 3000k trading lot(with no wishlist),
i just silently blocked them & let their crap offers rot.

What do you guys do when dealing with these situations?

I say 'yea sure! thanks. Can you just give me a day or so to accept? I just gotta run off'
and never do it. leave them hanging in hopeful suspense.

I tend to do the silent blocking. It's not worth getting annoyed over and if you get into a slanging match over neomail, there's always the risk of saying something a little too risky and then getting reported and iced for it. I tend to let them rot too, just in case I accidentally accept.

However, if the account offering is an older one, maybe we should actually be rejecting seeing as there's that glitch about at the moment - the one where older accounts sometimes don't get their NP back if you accept another offer or reject. At least there's a chance of them losing what they offered then :D

Just minutes ago i tried something a bit "mean" :D
    (They deserve it though)
After blocking someone offers rudely enough, i mailed him :
"Im really interested in your offer because it's currently the highest one ^_^
Do you mind adding a little extra np to make it a deal?"

So, this poor guy happily withdrew his offer & when he tried to offer something again...

    IMAO

I get pissed. I put a faerie kougra plush up and I said "lowest on TP minus 50k" and they all bid fxckin 50k. I neomail them and made it only friends can contact. Most of the time I just reject though.

I usually just reject the offer. What I hate is when they neomail talking about how poor they are and how you should give them the item for free. Now, I block THOSE!

I reject the offer followed by an insta-block. However, I usually also have a disclaimer in my trades saying that n00bitude will be blocked... So they've had fair warning, after all.

I actually accepted a bunch of lowball offers recently.

I find that for me it's easier to take a hit of maybe 25% and let someone else profit, than waste my time selling items. I can spend the time restocking more :)

25% sure, but 99% (like one of the examples) i reject, but always get really nervous while doing so though in case something bad happens

I would be careful when rejecting the offers...I bet these guys get just as many items from people accidentally accepting when trying to reject as they do from someone actually wanting to accept the trade for whatever reason

I usually reject and dont say anything.. however it's getting on my nerves when I put something up for 500k for example and they offer 500 points. -_-

Half the time I can't be bothered to give those attention seekers the attention they seek, just block and reject them and don't waste any more time on them.

Well, as a matter of fact. i was offering a lot selling Baby Paint Brush Plushie with the wishlist saying "550k = auto"

And i did offer 550k for that plushie.

It seems that i was asking for it,

but that's why i don't think i like these TP scammers.

you know what i like to do..when i get a just better than crap offer on my lots i like to send them a neomail..something like. hmmm ok yeah not the worst just wait a few minutes yours is the best so far..it makes me smile to my self..they obviously had some hope id accept otherwise they wouldnt make the offer in the first place. so when i tell them to wait a few i imagine that they get quite excited and optimistic about getting my 2.3mil lot for a mere 250k hehehe >:)

lol you guys are so cruel (maybe I should become like that too -starts to think- ) I just cancel their offer.

One day my sister fell into the trap , she accidentally accepted an offer on a lot worth 700k and the person offered 700np. She was sooooo mad she decided to quit neopet.....

She came back two days later lol

its not actually scamming. yea its annoying when you get those offers, i just let them rot so they waste the NP they have on hand.

i used to resell and its pretty tough, sometimes you get noobs who think a hts is an ets and wont budge on price
