I'm just curious where people get their proxies since I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to these things.
I remember back in the day I used to have a program that used to get em and put em on a list for me after it checked whether or not they were dead... But that was a long time ago and I don't remember how I used to do it.

    Tips?

Usually from there when it gets updated :p

Then just PM Lightning with the ones you're using if you want them removed from the list. I think all those ones are dead though? It's been a while.

Elite Proxy Switcher is a good program to test out proxies and whether they work or not.

There are also many other websites you can sign up to to get free lists of proxies.. Google will be your friend.

Thanks yet again, and I have tried google, however most of the sites that come up are those annoying websites that are all about ads. You're looking for proxies, you press the "Anonymous Proxy" button and it takes you to google generated ads about proxies which take you to more google generated ads if you click or completely irrelevant subjects.

Also, would simply using AU to test them not suffice?

    http://eliteproxy.blogspot.com/
    and
    http://proxies.my-proxy.com/

Both have updated proxy lists on a daily basis.

AU can check the proxies yes... However, don't be surprised if some of them say they work, but when you go to login don't actually let you. I've come accross that a few times. I think it has something to do with the proxy type, and what it supports.
