Who was it that he scammed and how did it happen? I feel really stupid. When he was first accused of it and was banned, I actually thought a mistake had been made and wanted him to be unbanned. Then he was and he does it again. It makes you think.. I mean he was lvl 2 and pretty well known. *Sigh*.
Yeah, that's right. I was so sad when I saw that post, because I understood how anyone can scam you. I reported Smirnoff's post to the mods so that they could see evidences... But I'm happy there's 1 scammer less in the forum
its amazing how people can get so many posts and have a high status then blow it all away by scammer another user...it doesnt make sense
You're right - it makes no sense. I mean, 10 million isn't an impossible amount to make so why risk losing access to the community? I guess he was greedy and didn't want to earn his own NP. Or maybe he just didn't value the forum as much as the rest of us :/. Oh well, like Ricky said, that's one scammer less for NF. Not such a consolation for Smirnoff though
But at least Smirnoff didn't lose other things and the NPs he has on his account!!! You probably didn't read the topic as I did, but (if I remember well) the value of the account was about $ 300, and chris didn't payed!!!
No, I haven't seen anything about what happened, hence the topic. I guess he had a lucky escape in some respects then.. Imagine if he had lost all of that :shock: Anyway, back to searching for somewhere to live..
i always think about that, when he get banned at 1st.. i have something in my brain that he will try to attemp another scam. well banned his ip.. for GOODNESS sake!
and he had 1000 posts access to this forum is worth much more than 10 million np, or really anything on neopets. his account is just going to get iced.
