Who here has been addicted to age of empires?

I have had my random spurts. My favorite is definitely the second edition, the third one runs to slow and the first is kind of crummy. It totally rocks the casbah.

 

Second one is my favorite too. Got to love using castles as walls. I had a good 4 week run of never stopping playing.

Yep, AOE addict right here. I can't be bothered with all the catapults and sieging walls and stuff, so i usually go with Goths and build a crap load of horses and just swarm. HAve you gusy palyed Civilisation IV? It is sooooo gooood

 

AOE is probably my favourite game ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

def agree that the 2nd one is the best ... the story lines just arent as good in the 3rd

 

I love the 2..... The 3 i dont play :S, and the mytology is good ^^

 

AoE III i was addicted to forever then i got addicted to Warcraft and not so much age of empires

my brother is,he can play for hours and hours

 

My brother too..... He stay playing more than 6 hours in one game.....

 

its a serious problem of mine, especially when the conqurers expansion was released...

 

The only thing I hate about the game is when you have all upgrades and have to take out your enemy one by one. I like to defend from attacks and upgrade. It gets boring when you have to sit ad wait for resources.

 

Yes......... defeat the enemies one by one is very boring and strong.....

 

I prefer Star Craft that AoE .... though I don't like to play none

Wow, you are telling me! I could play 20 hours a day for a week, but then not look at it for a month, then start playing all over again! and I agree, second is definitely the best!
