I have a few as an avid sports fan. If we are talking about all time, my favorite sportsmen ever are 1. Honus Wagner- one of the greatest baseball players ever and has the same last name as me. 2. John Elway- The intensity that he played with just astounding me. He would do anything to win. Oh and he went to the same high school that I did and I have met him. 3. Lou Gehrig- The class that he showed while playing is remarkable. And his final speech is the greatest words ever expressed by a baseball player. 4. Mike Piazza- I grew up watching him and idolizing him since I was in LA. Remarkable player, just loved to watch him. 5. Ricky Henderson- Greatest player ever to play baseball. Everyone can make arguments why someone is better, but they just aren't. His aggressiveness and natural aptitude just set him in a league of his own. 6. Muhammad Ali- The most captivating athlete ever to compete in any sport. Just everything his did was done with flair, something that will never be matched. And if we are talking about favorite people now, probably ryan braun or jon garland because I know them both lol. Or matt kemp because he is an absolute beast
You people who aren't interested in hockey won't know who i'm talking about. I only have two favorite sports person and they are: Roberto Luongo from the Vancouver Canucks & Dwane Roloson when he played for the Edmonton Oilers. Luongo & Roloson are both AMAZING goalies. They both have had some amazing saves. Too bad Roloson got traded
Ohhh, you like goalies mooie, surely you remember Patrick Roy for the Avalanche. That is my favorite hockey player ever since at one point I actually followed the Avalanche and he was a complete beast lol
You should check out Halak (goaler) currently playing for the Montreal Canadians He saved like 150 shots and let pass like 2 or 3 in the four last games. He's just amazing <3 Lucky we have him on our team :yup:
If you are talking about since forever, it would have to be Ali, who was a big talker who could back it up - or Fran Tarkenton - who just kept me entertained always!
Pele - For being probably the first player ever to make soccer into an art-form. Fedor Emelianenko - Pound per pound the best fighter in the world. And I have to add David Beckham, not cos he was good, but cos once he was out of shape and started playing bad, he got a contract for 250 mil US a year, 5 year contract (I think it was). Ah, some people...
