as i know most of the world o.o, have 1 lastname I have 2 o.o "Name" "Middle name" "Father lastname" "Mother lastname" -> Name format
hmm o.o i never thought about it, but i see at TV at foreign series they have just 1 last name, and here all have 2, and in marriage, the girl dont change her lastname, she keep it and give it to her son
I have only father's lastname... however it's possible to have two lastnames, but I don't know anyone that have  I don't remember if in Italy you have to pay if you want give to your son both father's and mother's lastname...
"Courtney Cox Arquette" Because she married David Arquette, but she was already known as Courtney Cox.
my name for example. my father have zamorano as last name, my mother acuña. so my name is carlos zamorano acuña. (oh and i have middle name, andres, andrew in english :k) so my full name is carlos andres zamorano acuña. did you understand? xP
Nope, I was wrong^^" You have to pay only when you want to change your lastname after 18year old. However, me too would like to have also mother's lastname... but did you imagine what will happen if everyone have two lastname? XD Their son would have 4 lastname, then 8 lastname... 16... 32 etc...^^"
no, the son just keep the father lastname of mother and father. my son will have my first lastname, and the second lastname will be the mother first lastname no more @@
i thought that people with two last names were because them (or their parents) got married, divorced then remarried?
Yeh I was joking... but in this way only the memory of one of your parents remain in your son's lastname. But it's inevitable^^" However if I had two lastnames I would be doubtful on which choose for my son... so, I'm glad to have only one lastname =P
