why does no one listen to engineers?

    Not all engineers are nerds. :(

    Pretty crazy though. Wonder how much money BP is losing over this.

    I'm guessing there wasn't enough outcry from the engineers to make BP want to fix everything. Saving money probably outweighed the risk of an oil spill.

    well they dont listen to engineers cuz they are not designers. Usually people listen to the designer more and throw the more experienced person one side. In the end the engineers would be like :"see i tried to tell those idiots...."
