Why is there a stupid nickelodeon header everywhere?

    I think it's because Nick. Jr signed some sorta contract to release neopets items and stuff in real life, the only stupid thing neopets can do to return the favor is advertise their crap.

    I think it's just because Viacom own both Neopets and Nickelodeon so basically, it's free advertising for them. Will probably start to happen more and more often. I have Premium anyway so I don't care :D

    I didn't even notice there was a Nickelodeon header on the top of the site :eek: Just after I read this topic I discovered it :p But it isn't really annoying, is it?

    Want to get rid of it?

    1) Use Firefox with AdBlock (Though if you're still using IE now you fail anyways.)
    2) AdBlock => Preferences => Add filter...
    3) Paste "#div(brand-mamabar)", without the quotes.
    4) Laugh in mocking scorn at the further attempts from Nick at franchising, and enjoy Neo w/o the stupid bar.

    Ok for the longest time I never saw it but now I do.
    It just makes neopets look more shit overload :)
    It suits them so it might as well stay there.

    ever sinse that header has come up my neopets has been working a lot faster alotugh that might just be to be with my pc

    Nickelodeon paid Neopets to sponsor them. That's why there's the Nickelodeon ad.

    it's hardly noticeable. i think people are just pissed off bc they think it means that neo is targeted towards the age groups that watch nick, lol.
    it kind of is, imo.

    I watch those shows... (Not nickelodeon exactly, I'm in Canada but I still watch spongebob and stuff)
    I guess neo is directed to me. I'm 17... but who cares. =D
