    Anyone installed the new RC?

I've heard some good things about it, I might dual-boot it and try it out for myself.

Isn't it still in beta at the moment?
I'd prefer to wait until the actual thing comes out; less bugs to deal with that way

Have you seen those new backgrounds that it comes packaged with? I really like the selection they picked.

Yeah, I know. The new desktop looks pretty good - espcially without the annoying sidebar.

Still loving XP on my high-end gaming rig, doubt I'll ever upgrade unless necessary :)

If you can call Windows good, yes xD. As in, probably the best version of Windows out there. Which makes sense, since it's the most recent...

Haven't installed it.. but anything should be better than Vista so I'll consider getting it.

I'll try it some time soon, once I manage to partition my hard disk right. Sorta have free space almost on every part of my hard disk and I'm not able to extend other partitions with it -.- Screw partitioning limitations.

I'm running the latest Windows7 build and love it. Its a lot faster than XP and Vista, much more user friendly, looks great and performs really well for a beta operating system. I can't wait to try out the finished release :).

I currently have the RC1 version installed, and all I can say is it works really well. I've not had many problems with bugs, not even one blue screen from the first version I installed (it was the beta1). It works smoothly and is lighter than vista, and the amount of compatibility issues is faaaaar away from the amount Vista had. If you really want to know, what most sites say about Windows 7 is that it's just Vista with some stuff taken out to make it faster, and it's probably just true.
I'm waiting for build 7260 to download to upgrade, I'll let you know what is changed in it.
