So, again.. im on a lab top that isnt working >:) I shouldnt say isnt working... it just keeps going down...

I know nothing about computers and even less about wireless. My sisters running windows 7.. if thats any help lol
heres the error i keep getting MOST of the time..

"Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration Not fixed
Reset the "Wireless Network Connection" adapter Failed

Im not sure what a valid IP config. is and why i dont have one. . .? If its not this issue its unplugging or turning off the wireless adapter and waiting 10 seconds. This usually fixes the problem but I shouldnt have to be doing this once or twice an hour should I??

If anyone out there can help a puter idiot it would be much appreciated and i sure will +rep you!!
If you need to know anything else plz dont hesitate to ask. Ill try and answer you the best i can lol

*crosses fingers and hopes this save*

    EDIT: *YAYYY IT SAVED!!!*

Again, are you leeching internet service from one of your neighbors or do you have your own router?

    go to your

Wireless Connection, Right Click, look for properties, under the General Tabs u'll have options like Client for Microsoft Networks, File & Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks etc, etc..

Look for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)..double click on it, Under the General tabs, make sure that the Obtain an IP address automatically is selected and the Obtain DNS server address automatically is selected..
