So, I've been doing the P90X workout for about a week, and it is pretty hard. But, you kind of have to push yourself... Otherwise, you could pause the video or just stop all together... Anyway, I have been wanting to get back in shape, just because I don't feel as good as I used to... After the first week, I already notice a big difference, I feel better, I'm less tired in general (aside from right after the workout, of course) and I've lost 5 lbs and I'm gaining back muscle definition and flexibility. I went from a keg to a 4 pack at the moment. All in 1 week!! I still have 11 to go before the "program" is over and then you can do the additional discs (P90X+) for workouts beyond that. I am just curious as to what your opinions are about working out, whether you think it's worth it or not. I personally really enjoy it as it makes me feel a billion times better than normal. Thoughts? B)
I definitely agree, I know physically I don't look much different yet, but I FEEL like I look a lot different already, if that makes any sense B)
I know exactly what you mean, that's what I felt like when I started working out. It doesn't just give you muscles, but cardio, and better blood flow as well.
working out has way too many benefits in my opinion, while gaming rocks, working out makes you stay in better shape, live longer, have more self esteem, etc, makes you just feel better endorphyns yo!
ughhh noooo yes I know the health benefits of working out and stuff....but I absolutely cannot (nor can anyone else) motivate myself into doing it....D: and as for losing weight or what not...not eating junk food is way easier than exercising
Yeah, it's worth it, definately. But I just hate it, once I get running, and get to the fitness center and I see result, I just stop. And then it goes away SO fast =o I mean, I wanna be "athletic" looking, not crazily though xD just a little bit. And we have a project at school, so I'll start again soon :3 To me, working out isn't because of the weight loss, it's because it feels GOOD afterwards :3 seriously, it gives you plenty of energy c:
It is definitely worth it. Personally i go to the gym twice a day. (4:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.) I cannot find anything that is more important thann keeping my body in shape. It not only keeps me healthy, but also helps me in sports and with girls. So working out is definitely important
working out is great, makes you feel much better about yourself and more confident in general, I was thinking about making a thread asking what everyones exercise routines were, I think I need more weight training in mine, I go for too much cardio I'm thinking, I don't want to go overboard though the last time I tried intense weight training I felt like an overcooked noodle.
Hmm, I think I'm going to be the oddball here. Maybe it's because I'm genetically lucky, but I'm quite in shape, so I don't really work out. The most I do is to play a game of basketball with my friends once in awhile? Hehheh.
Well, no not the oddball, when your young you should naturally be pretty in shape unless you are horrendously excessive (ie. you pop a couple bags of potato chips everyday or something and live on Fast food). But you can always improve on what nature gave you, at least a little . Working out has more benefits than simply being in shape though, good for the mind even improves efficiency of study
Well, I did have potato chips for lunch, but that was just once. Usually I have proper meals xD Hmm well, I'm sure that I'll feel better if I do work out, though. I'm just a little lazy. Haha. I remember feeling good when I used to play basketball nearly everyday? I didn't get tired that easily xD
I don't work out. I want to - I want to lose weight and look good, but I can't stand to work out. It causes me too much pain, I'm not sure why. So I feel pretty much stuck how I am...
Of course working out is worth it...I have been working out all summer and have gained close to 25 pounds of mostly muscle. Cardio isn't that fun, so I leave that to basketball season and open gym lol.
If you can do it and stick to it go for it, I find it hard to stay motivated hopefully that will change as people have said its best all round strength circulation health the ability to throw heavy things like old tvs so you can get a plasma the benefits never end
