I've played this game three times, and every time, my score doubles. Hope that it continues that way, because I'm at 2500 right now. I think that this is a very nice-looking avatar. I'm glad that TNT isn't just focusing on drumming up game-players by making new games, but by making their lesser-played games (both MGoD II and Nimmos Pond were very, very unpopular games) have avatars. At least they're still semi-intelligent, Style Showdown aside.
I was almost in shock when they announced that avatar. Good job TNT. ^_^ Too bad I'm really bad at games. xD
I'm really glad they did a Nimmo's Pond one of my favorite games cause I can get max Neopoints every time, needless to say I got the avvie B) The key is to move as little as possible, only to eat the power ups you need. When you get the level 5 spreader getting 4k is cake
I used to play this game alot. Im definetly surprised they came out with a new avatar. I didnt think they ever would. I cant get anywhere near 4k thoe. Stuck around 1250 XD I have my boyfriend playing now to see if he can get it. But still glad they came out with something new Bout time TNT.
Maybe we should start collecting tips for people having trouble? - Remember your tongue can hit lilys - The only weapon upgrades I like are the yellow spreader ones, the little bronze ball gets hard to aim and you have to plan ahead because your range is too long and the green has less width than the yellow. You can only get up to 5 upgrades, if you get anymore it will say your on level 6 for like 2 seconds then you'll be back to level 5. You can also accidentally pick up multiple upgrades at once which can be very bad. - Save your bombs for the moment before you get hit, they are very valuable, you can only have up to three at once, just let the upgrade fly around if you don't need it they don't disappear. - Be very careful when you lick an upgrade that is constantly changing, if your weapon is 3+ and your afraid to lose it I would say to leave it if your not confident on your timing. - Move slowly and try to stay on the screen - You don't get points for picking up upgrades so if you don't need it leave it - If you don't urgently need the upgrade finish off most of the lilys till you have 1 of the small ones floating around, then pick up the upgrades at your leisure - Don't be too trigger happy remember that you don't recharge your blue bar if your shooting/using the arrow keys. - If your going too fast in one direction ->, turn the frog 180 degrees so its facing <- this direction and slowly tap the up arrow key till you slow down. Anything I missed?
Not sure about you guys, but i tend to just stay in the middle and not move around at all, just rotating and shooting. First priority to shoot are the lily pads traveling really fast and the ones that are coming to you. I think its easier this way, and when you want to get an upgrade just wait patiently til there is only one lily pad, then wait for the upgrade to be in your reach. I usually play with this strategy and it works well for me.
