    This seriously is strange.
So I kinda started running again since I decided to join the army (sent in my app today o.o). First time I ran I was in very good shape - considering I get totally wasted both friday+saturday (sometimes even thursdays too) and I smoke - not MUCH, but I am a pretty heavy smoker.
First time I ran I ran 10 kms without stopping. Then stopped for two months or so and ran 7km in 39 minutes. So I've been running the 7 kilomters run for a few times (maybe 3-4) all with the time between 37-40 minutes. Then had a break from friday til today and kinda forced myself to go running today because I've stayed in my bed for two days feeling so depressed. GUESS WHAT. I run the freaking 7km run in.. yes, 34 MINUTES. I feel so extremely supernatural and I don't get it. I'm not athletic in any way I just feel in top shape when I finally run even though I do it so seldom!!

And what's even weirder, I don't run as fast when I run less, like 3 or 4 kms o.o
Anyways,, just had to tell someone that I'm like superman B)

    Awesome! Great for you! =)
Don't forget that rest is necessary for your body to build up the muscles, so it's actually better to run every other or third day, than everyday, otherwise the body will just break down the muscles instead of building and maintaining them.

Yeah, thank you Virre - sometimes I get too excited and want to go every day, but I always end up getting hurt D: actually, it has already happened to my knee, so I really need to be cautious!! But thanks for the heads up :D

Same thing happened to me as well. But that was probably because I was running in my old converse's instead of running shoes XD

I come from a land down under! (Maaaate!)
I can just picture this gorgeous army chick running... wait no... floating down the street like an angel with the wind in her hair. (yes you)

I should run more... But I just can't be bothered. I need fitness for my job too.. Heh!

That's really awesome (your time and your decision to enlist)! I love running. I really want to do a marathon this year.

Ah good for you! I love running but I do it sporadically; I'll go everyday for a few weeks then not at all for a month. It's not good haha.

And how do you run? Do you run with your heel hitting the ground first rather than the flat of your foot? I've heard that can make your feet hurt.

I used to do that, but with the new shoes it's more of a continuos loco-motive motion when I jog and flat fot when I sprint. Takes some getting used to, but both my feet and knees are without pain after running now. =)
