So, TNT gets back to me, courtesy of the BBB after a year.

And it turns out, THIS is what I was frozen for?

If anyone happens to remember way back then, tOtg was selling a UC Faerie Kyrii. I sent him the $16; he never sent me the pet, saying "his friend" had suddenly changed the pass on him (it had been a shared account or something), and that he'd get back to me. He never did. I was a Level I at the time, and quite frankly intimidated by tOtg for being, le gasp, a Level IV, so I never bothered reporting him. (He also later said that he'd repay the $16 with legit neopoints, another possible resolution that he never followed through on.)

The fact he scammed me of $16 was rather...annoying, to say the least, but it really pales in comparison to having lost my account over THAT. The username I used for that account was the first one I ever created/used, ever, and actually mattered to me. Plus, the account would now be 74 months old, legitimately created by me as a 9 year old.

And I'd finally gotten my dream pet of a Faerie Draik, and was in the midst of a trade for a Pirate Draik, as well...

So, yeah. I'm really rather ticked right now. /endrant

Ah, well, I suppose that there's still a slim chance I might be able to get my account back (it got frozen right before I was billed for a year's worth of Premium, after all); if so I shall be overjoyed...I'm not going to get my hopes up, though, considering this is TNT, but that'd still be pretty epic. (Going completely legit, but of course staying on this forum to chat, ftw?)

And I suppose this shows TNT does treat the BBB seriously. Even if they have a rating of an 'F', and it took them a year to reply. ;-;

Hmm, thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't actually started paying for Premium yet, though, so I'm not sure that'd work...=/

Ah, well, worth a try after I see how this ends up being resolved, I suppose. (Though hopefully I'll get my account back...slim chances for that, though; tbh I'd long given up on that...)

 

you could always go in for the "my account must have been accessed by someone else" plea.
