How long do you all think the writer's strike will go on for? I miss my shows... but I still support the strike anyways.
what are they asking for anyway?? i dont like in USA so i dont know wats going on... all i know is that they are on strike....
For those of you who don't know, the Writers Guild of America has gone on strike. They are the ones who write the scripts for TV Shows, many plays, and more. Some actors have gone on strike too, to promote the protest. They obviously are asking for more money/benefits/etc. The main cause of this was that most people now watch TV Shows online, buy off iTunes, etc, and the writers only get the money from people watching on TV. I personally believe that they do deserve it. I mean, this is proof how TV is ruined without the writers.
Are you saying the government should create more money, or earn more? Creating more would be in insanely bad idea. The USD is worth a lot less now, and we are in 3 trillion+ dollars of debt. If the USD goes down more, the amount of money we need to pay gets higher. And then there's inflation, and another depression
