Ok, you heard right. I'm going to try to learn VB.Net (or VB6, whichever's easier)

I need a place to begin. I would prefer somthing with step by step basics, then I can look into other stuff.

Also, where can I download the program i need? Because I have Visual Basic 2005.

    thanks,
    Death

Ok... I know I already suggested you Vb.NET, but now I'm discovering VB6. It's a lot easier, and it's probably a good start for you, as it's similar to SCAR. Then you can upgrade VB6 to VB.net. Just my opinion.

How similar? like, with the if... then tings, or procedures?

I'm liking :) Where can I download Visual Basic?
Oh, and I'm playing around in vb.net, and I made a tic-tac-toe game, and a simple browser (no address bar... xD)

I used to use VB6 its very easy to program with. If you need any help feel free to ask.

I suggest you start with VB6, .net is pretty complicated if you've never programmed.

    .. ..

I agree with Stonage..VB 6.0 is easy to program with with the help of a few guide to get your syntax right. Master VB 6.0 and .net should come like a breeze
