Your opinions on old neopets compared to new ones?

What do you guys think.. back before where we had to enter PW for access if we forget password.. when the toolbar was on the side + the top and on your b-day they gave you a special toolbar.

I really hate this new layout.. the old was WAY better

Well, I suppose I got "used" with the new layout/new neopets.
I'd rather have the old version again, though. In my opinion, most of the things back then were better.
But I said "most of the things" because some are not so bad ideas in the new version.
I don't like how the converted pets look, but I do like the idea of putting a background, or keeping the old clothes of an old color our pet was paint.
There are a few positive things about the new version.
But I'd change to the old one any time, if I could.

Yeah, I totally agree. I wish they could have.. you know.. like the option to switch layouts or something.

What happened to slots? I've been gone a while

 

The old ones actually had emotions, and actually looked like they were semi-doing-something in the battledome. The new ones don't have any 'movement' at all.

I hate the new ones. Too cutesy.

 

Yeah.. it seems to get more and more childish by the update.. like seriously.. petpet park? Wow..

Yeah, they make the site more childish.. but somehow the filter on the neoboards, userlookups, petnames, and neomails has become waayyy more lax for some reason XD

 

i liked the old one much better too.. somehow i find it harder to navigate on the new layout, lots of stuff cluttered up on the home page. and at the inventory screen, i miss the yellow banner where the images of shop wizard/N. Central/Bazaar/etc used to be because it was easier to navigate that way.

 

Old is way better 2002 was good times.

 

I quit Neo for a couple years and came back this year, and the new format...at first it irritated me and I really wanted the old nav back, but now that I use Firefox and mostly just jump straight to the URL I want to get to it doesn't bother me that much anymore.

Re-orienting myself to Neo took a little bit, but now that I've gotten used to it it's not that bad. I really liked the old art so much better, though...

Yeah, I agree.. it's easy to get used to even though alot of people hate it, but, I think it's so they can fit more ads :|

They've become more about the money the past bit

 

I like the old ones, it was so much more simple.
