I am not a programmer, so I am not sure if this is possible, but I came up with an idea of a program that would go into YOUR own gallery (well, I guess it could go into other's as well, using the source code), picking out all the items, going to the shop wizard/trading post and finding the average price and then pricing your gallery for how much it's worth. I collect petpets and I didn't think to keep track and there are too many for me to do that now. I think this would be a neat program.
Hehehe, I like the idea. I'm thinking about making something like that as well. Getting the prices from the shop wizard and adding them is, I think, very simple. The problem is with the items in the trading post. You can find the items, but how do you make an automated script that can read the right price inside that text-messages? :/
Oh whoops, I totally forgot about that.. So anything that's under 99k it will find easily but I think maybe if the program looks for numbers that are after "The Wishlist of *name here*" or something hmmm
If anyone posts a program here similar to that one lemme know. Sometimes i lose count of how much i have spent in my gallery. Im sure its more than what i could ever imagine or remember.
Yeah, I'm thinking that it could search trades and look for numbers under the wishlist and if it can't find anything, it will say "can not find" and you could manually find it yourself.. i mean, i'm not THAT lazy I just want it to do the majority of the work.
