Foreward: This is a supplement to either of these guides: neopets-guides-f22/semi-legit-restocking-t32227.html neopets-cheats-f80/semi-legit-restocking-t27548.html AS WELL AS A supplement to Dreamlorde's Adblock list for, well, ads: neopets-guides-f22/dreamlorde-s-adblock-lists-t28831.html Dreamlorde created an Adblock list that blocks everything but the shopkeeper and the items for when you restock. This filter can be disabled anytime for when you aren't restocking. I've included this as among the lists of AdBlock lists uploaded in this post. That list is NOT mine, it's his and all credit for that list should be given to him, not me. Everything else apart from that is mine, however. Among the things that his list blocks are: ** Pets ** Ads ** Header and Footer ** Top Banner ** Sidebar How to Add a Filter List: 1. Go to Preferences in your AdBlock Plus dropdown OR hit <CTRL+SHIFT+E> 2. At the top of the popup, go to FILTERS > IMPORT FILTERS OR hit <CTRL+I> 3. Select a text file of image links. 4. You'll get a popup. Click APPEND. How to create a Filter List: 1. Open a text document (TextEdit for Mac, Notepad for Windows) 2. At the top, type [Adblock] (Without this title, Adblock will not recognize it as a filter list) 3. On each line, put the image URL of the picture to be blocked. 4. Make sure that the image URLs don't have a | before it. Thanks for the rep, 1137. It seems that disabling Javascript for neopets.com removes the query that says "Are you sure you want to purchase ___ for ___?" every time you try to buy an item. And also, you can also remove the side bar, banner, etc. by using a Stylish user style (http://userstyles.org/styles/3438). I personally prefer this instead of the Adblock list because it's quicker and easier to enable/disable (unless there's a quicker way of turning on/off the Adblock list?). However, you'll have to install the Stylish Firefox extension though.
