I'd go with the 360, it offers a great online system for its games, and a lot of the games that people were waiting for with the ps3 are coming out for the 360 also, so in my book i'd go for the 360
ps3. mostly because its got the built in blu-ray player. i think it is cheaper than buying a stand-alone blu-ray player right now too.
I've only every used a 360, and won't own either. I think i'd have to stick with the 360 because it would be hard to adjust to a ps3.

I would Wii. =P There was a really sweet video "PS3 vs. Wii" on TechTV, I laughed 'till I cried, 'cause it was so true. I've had the pleasure of playing both, and I agree with the Wii. =P I wouldn't go with the Xbox 360, I've played that a lot, and it's not as great as they make it sound.
Ps3 all the way! If u check the specification of the game consoles u will know. Ps3 have bluray and STEM PROCESSOR! These hardwares are EXPENSIVE. I uisually DIY computers so i know a bit of game consoles hardware. in terms of graphics ps 3 can deliver more but it depends on the game companies if they make great games. And personally i think wii and 360 have more fun games. So if u want great games from ps3 w8 for a few months then u buy it. and by then the price of ps3 will drop too.
Between those two, at the moment I would go with a 360. The graphics difference isn't all that much, and the 360 has more of it's own games at the moment. If you're going to get both, get the 360 first, and wait for at least a year or two before getting the PS3 (let the bugs be worked out and let the price drop). By then, the PS3 will have some better games, such as MGS4 and DMC4.
