Re: Acheteur Ultime 5.0.1 Nevermind! I guess my other posts haven't been going through or its board specific on where I post? Sorry for the scare
Re: Acheteur Ultime 5.0.1 It IS board specific - Introductions and Spam corner do not count As for the No Neopoint Match - I'm getting that error now too.
Re: Acheteur Ultime 5.0.1 There's been a change in Neopets' code. I have PMed expon about AU, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. It's a minor fix, but we will have to wait until he gets online.
Re: Acheteur Ultime 5.0.1 Acheteur Ultime 5.0.2 Fixed the login error Improved reliability, less crashes For existing users, just overwrite your existing AU4.exe to upgrade
Good stuff... Been using for the past couple of days and no complaints besides for not always being able to get some of the items... which of course is very understandable. But in the end, awesome program! Wish I knew how to make something like this...
Have there been many reports of account freezing using this? I used a Firefox based ABer way back when that I picked up off Slop Dog and it was remarkably safe to use even with faster buy times. I don't know if anyone here remembers that program or it's creator Ricky. But if anyone does, how comparable is this?
So far no freeze. Then again, Ive only been using it for a few days on low profile shops (bakery, food store, etc). Used an ABer years ago, and gave Abrosia a spin yesterday. Got to say I prefer Acheteur though, because of the customization options, chat, and the regular feedback on restocks.
When used properly and with a lot of caution, AU is the best autobuyer that's ever been available. You just have to find the right combination of refresh times, minimum buy times, pause times, etc. and you'll be golden.
Sorry to hear that. Like I said above, you've just got to try to find a happy spot with your times etc. The key is to make everything AU does look believable. It's just a big game of trial and error...
LOL Yea, I hear what you're saying but oh well... I was having some fun... Got a lot of REALLY cool stuff... got over 6 mil neopoints and started a collection of Morphing Potions. Also happened to get a Krawk and a Glowing Cauldron I think my mistake was leaving it on when I wasn't able to access my computer for the next few days. What a shame... Really big shame. But my fun is over. Gotta find something else to do now.
Is TNT tracking my Mac address or what? I can use another computer to AB and keep it separate from my main account, however, it is still on the same network. I would hate to have a chain freeze and get my main shut down since it is 100% legit.
If it is on the same network, they will track your IP address. MAC addresses are usually only visible to your router that you are connected to. However, if you have the same IPs on different accounts, TNT will link those two accounts 'together'.
So if account A is only ever used on computer X and account B only ever on computer Y, so long as accounts A and B are on the same network, they both risk being frozen if account B was using an Aber. Am I correct in that assumption?
