I've noticed a lot of members have become inactive, and in general, there is not much activity going on here.
Even though my loyalty will always be here, I've started being more active on other forums. I think some other people might be doing the same.

SO. Shouldn't we advertise? Get some active members in here?

Yea! And give me some more people to pick on and moderate! (not sarcastic)

We needs more activity.. we also need more active people that report posts...

We've discussed it somewhere already? I'm not sure if that was V forum, Mod forum or elsewhere?

Hmm, I think I remember something about it being discussed, but I think it's a long time ago, and nothing really happened! Someone needs to take action.

I would be willing to do it! I'm just not that good with videos to post on youtube o.o But maybe if we got an ip address and posted on neo? :D

I think I made a post in the mod section about this.
Seriously, a bunch of accounts + a bunch of proxys + neoboard = win

I'm wondering if we should create new sections about other games.
The thing right now is that we only have programs for neopets and maybe going for other online games might help. I don't know witch one tho as I only play neopets.

Also, I feel like I haven't really contribute to this forum for quite some time now so I'll try my best to release some programs (neopets for any other game, just let me know).

Exactly! But I'm thinking we would be quite careful, since tnt will most likely direct more attention on here ;D

Would a score sender help? I don't know how I'm going to release it yet, but I have started on one :)

    That might help aid advertising...

I dunno. There's a free one over the net so...
Right now, I'm planning on doing:
    -kitchen quest doer
    -Advanced Attic Aber

Also, if anyone think I should take a look at another game (maplesoty I guess), lemme know.

Well I was thinking that it would be something more advanced than sLAUGHTER's....with a ton of adjustable settings to make it less suspicious.

In my opinion, we have some really amazing programs. More might help, but I just think we are a little too unknown. Yes, that might be good, but people often go to the most known and active forums. So advertising what we already have would probably also be a good idea. I mean, AU just rocks, and no other sites have something to compare.

I am on the other forums because of activeness, not because of their programs.

What if you could get a reward for referring people? Like and award when you've referred 5 people, or a point of forum cash for each person you refer.
Idk.. It may make more people try to get other people on here, I know I would be more motivated. ^__^

EDIT: Alright, I just saw there was already a topic started about this. Nevermind, then.

This is very similar to how another very old and popular (although it's now died down significantly) Neopets related forum advertised itself. The only difference is that instead of the NeoBoards, they used the now/recently online list that the Neopets homepage used to have -- so they just had a program send NeoMails to people as they logged in. And it worked...

Maybe before we try n get new members... we fix the bugs we currently have.

    And give it a facelift?

Programs Section especially... I know this has been talked about for a while. But how the hell do we actually go about it?!

That or somehow get them to give you/commy the power to do it? You've been the longest two active mods XD That or SoC.. He's practically a Admin anyway.. Just not so active at the moment...

The absence of admins does hurt, but I'm not familiar with phpp or whatever language is used for nf. If it's just point and click, that would be easier.
Junior, I'd say your judgement is as good as any of the mods.

As for advertising to get new members, we would need to be more active. Even if we draw in more members, they're more likely to leave than stay if the place is as active as it is currently.

I asked numerous time to have access to this section of the site...
The thing is, seeing how it's mess up right now, I'm not sure I want to see the coding behind it :arf:

Just having the right to "really" delete the program from the DB would be a great start.
As of now, it just put them in the delete category and they sit there.
