I registered for my first Neopets account when I was 9 or 10, played for a few years, quit to go play MMORPGs for a couple of years, and now I'm back to it as a 15-year-old. =P Neopets is a fun game for all ages, and after all, I read somewhere that it was originally developed for bored college students, anyways.
I have a child and worked 2 full time jobs and still had time for Neopets. If "responsibility" means you stop making time for things you enjoy to keep you from being buried in stress, then I guess I never got older.
I've played on and off for like...8ish years maybe? give or take Although I'm only 17 now so I don't fit into the demographic of the question but if I ever run into extreme boredom when I'm older I'll probs play again maybe when I retire haha

I started at about 11, then gave up after my pathetic attempts at cheating were foiled lawl. Now 18 and my cheating attempts are much more successful, and less detectable =] my account is only 2 weeks old lol, waiting till 16 days for r89's then the real cash starts to come in =] Got my first UB today to so happy! Unless I get iced then I will probably play for a long time =] You aren't the only adult that plays =]

well let's see... I think I started neopets the summer before 6th grade cause a friend from music camp introduced me to it. I'm a senior now so that'd make eh...6+ years?
I think it would be hard to understand some of the economic things in neopets if you weren't above a certain age :/ Then again, Viacom seem to target some of their things to the young. But, for a kids site, they do have a VERY lax filter.
Really. I think any age is fine as long as people don't let it control their life. And that the people arent some kind of creepy internet stalker x3
A lot of older people play it, it was originally intended for college students. Most of the older people don't pay attention to a lot of the features though, like the cutesy little kid stuff.

Wasnt neo originally created for layabout students (like myself) to procrastinate on? I'm 22 and still play, I've dipped in and out of neo since I was 14ish! I still get hooked now and again!
^ I'm pretty sure it was. I started playing 7 years ago when I was 8 or 9, I'm 15 now, aha. o: I don't think there's anything wrong with adults playing it.
Yeah i remember reading somewhere that neopets is mainly targeted towards teens and college students! So i expect most players to be of 15-25 age. By the way i am 20 years old(exact average of the range).
I am only 13 but I bet that there are people older han you... probably like 40 year old virgins playing =/
I don't think there's anything wrong with people of any age playing Neopets. Those of us in our late teens/early twenties probably started playing when we were much younger and just never stopped. Older players perhaps play with their children, or just to sink some time. It only really becomes creepy when you're trying to use Neopets to hit on/flirt with people, 'cause you never know how much older/younger than you they are.
