    I watched the opening ceremony, it just blew me away.
    For everything they did was amazing.
    And the $40bn budget, that is extremely impressive.

    The opening was INSANE. I watched it twice, and I didn't catch the footprints bit the first time but I did the second time. It was crazy.

    Are you talking about the image they drew and then the participants walked over it and made the rainbow of colors? Otherwise I might have missed that too.

    i cant believe i missed the opening!!! i had to work :( i did just watch the U.S. beat France in the 4x100 m freestyle, insane finish!!!! all after france was trash talking about beating the U.S.

    it was crazy but france should have won the idiot swam to close to the side and the u.s got some drag off him

    well i didnt really care if America won this year...but one thing happened that i wanted to happen...Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals WHOOP! GO PHELPS! what a god :yup: :D ..oh and he won 7 out of the 20 new records so far o_O

    It was predicted China was gonna win.

    I didn't watch much of the Olympics except for Singapore (gooo!) against China in TT Finals. Sad we lost.

    Micheal Phelps finished about 8th or so in overall COUNTRY standings :)
