Best game system you ever played?

Oh yeah the Sega Saturn must have been one of the biggest console flops... I never got a chance to buy it before it was ditched and the PS2/Xbox came out

 

I didn't even know there was a sega saturn! How long was in on the shelves for?

 

Not sure it seemed like it was only a few months but perhaps it reached a year... :?

 

same here xbox360 i have two at home i love the graphics. i barely played ps3 but i would rather go with xbox, cheaper games

 

I'd say a few months, when it first released it only sold 80,000 copies. Playstation had went over 100,000 so Sega's attempts in dominating the market failed. Also no one wanted to play 32-bit games anymore, and that caused the failure of Sega Saturn. But the worst thing about it they also created the "Dreamcast" and that was just as bad as Sega Saturn.

 

The dreamcast!! Thats what I was thinkign of! ot the Sega Saturn! I have fond memories of Sonic on the Sega Saturn!

The dreamcast is the understatement of disaster.

 

Speaking of Sega, is there company attempting to make any consoles? Have they merged with another gaming enterprise? They really vanished after dropping Sega Saturn and Dreamcast.

 

Super Nintendo FTW!!! Well.. it was fun back in the day.

 

Sega Saturn is highly underestimated.
It was just as good as the Playstation and Sega Rally Championship totally owned Grand Turismo at the time.
Unfortunately, the release date was pretty messed up and it wasn't hyped enough.
Anywho, one of the greatest games ever, Nights Into Dreams, was released on Sega Saturn only. And now they're making a sequal for Wii
