Aztec by Gary Jennings An old (publised in 1980), yet amazing historical novel. I would recommend it to anyone (over 15, its kinda... inappropriate...) Have a look: http://books.google.com/books?id=kyChrE ... -thumbnail
I just read -thinks- IMPULSE yeah, that's it it's this really sad story about 3 kids who all try to kill themselves, and all end up in the same institute. It's well written, funny at times, and seriously thought provoking. A really good read, and not too long either
I liked reading a book called 'The lovely bones'. Its about this girl who got raped and killed, and she ascends to heaven, relating the experiences of her family after her death. It is a very touching book and I recommend you all the read it too.
Some of the better books i've read this year -- "The New Rules of High School" by Blake Nelson "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom "Stoner and Spaz" by Ron Koertge "It's Kind of a Funny Story" by Ned Vizzini "Twisted" by Laurie Halse Anderson "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson
I just read "How 2 Cheat on NeoPets"...just kidding... the last booy i read was Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows
A NZ book called Chinatown Girl. Pretty good, it won an award in NZ for one of the best books and the story looks from a china girl's diary perspective into life in WWII.
